7th Region Week 11 Review and Rankings

This past week Ballard went 2-1 with an 83-73 loss to 6th Region power Evangel, but Ballard was playing without Miles Franklin who has a sprained ankle and not sure what his status is this coming week. If he can't return by the tournament that would certainly hurt Ballard's chances in the tournament. Trinity scored a tough 47-45 road win against a very good Collins team and also went 3-0 on the week. Male went 3-0 and beat their rival Manual 64-52, and they also beat 6th Region power Pleasure Ridge Park 70-60. These 3 teams are the main contenders to win the 7th Region and it will not be a surprise for any of these 3 to win the tournament. The hay is pretty much in the barn as we head into the last week before the district tournaments, so we don't have to wait much longer for the excitement of tournament madness.

Ballard beat Central 76-67, beat Jeffersontown 65-62, and lost to Evangel 83-73. Next game is at home against Jeffersonville (IN) on 2/14.
