A little MEAC action for me tonight, courtesy of ESPNU. Norfolk State (15-7, 5-2 Conference) was able to defeat conference foe North Carolina Central (10-11, 3-4 Conference) by six points after falling behind in the 2nd half. The Spartans hit 46.8% of their shots, while the Eagles flew a tad lower at 40.4%. Dana Tate Jr. (Boston, MA) paced the winners with 21 points and 5 boards. Aiding in the cause with 18 points (Norfolk, VA) was Joe Byrant Jr. Cahiem Brown (Brooklyn, NY) came off the bench to score 17 points. He was 11-of-13 from the free-throw line. For the Eagles, Justin Wright (Greenville, NC) had 21 points and 6 boards.
