1) Hazard (18-3):

Wins: Bishop Brossart 68-62

Losses: Covington Holy Cross 69-45

Hazard made the trip down the mountains this weekend to EKU’s McBrayer Arena for the KHSAA All “A” State Tournament. The Bulldogs picked up a big 68-62 win over 10th region’s Bishop Brossart. The Bulldogs would fall in they’re second game to Covington Holy Cross 60-45. The loss would snap the Bulldogs 15 game win streak. 
 

2) Letcher County Central (18-6):

Wins: Pikeville 61-50, Lee County 80-67

The Cougars picked up two more wins this week when they defeated both Pikeville and Lee County. LCC has now won 5 straight and 11 of they’re last 12 games. 
 

3) Perry County Central (12-11):

Wins: Wolfe County 85-57, Rockcastle County 74-54. 
 

Perry County Central ran they’re win streak to 5 straight this past week with two impressive wins over Wolfe County and Rockcastle County. 
 

4) Breathitt County (11-8):

Loss: Harlan County 87-78 (OT). 
 

The Bobcats seen they’re 3 game win streak get snapped with a loss to the Harlan County Black Bears. Senior guard Luke Bellamy led the Bobcats with 26 including 4/11 from 3. 
 

5) Wolfe County (13-10):

Loss: Perry County Central 85-57. 
 

With the loss to Perry County Central, Wolfe County has now lost 2 straight and 3 of they’re last 4. 
 

6) Lee County (10-12):

Wins: Powell County 79-67, Owsley County 73-57 

Loss: Letcher County Central 80-67

Lee County picked up two more big district wins this past week, improving to 4-1 in district play with a big district game with Estill County remaining. Senior guard Zach Watterson recorded his 3,000 career point in the loss to Letcher County Central. 
 

7) Estill County (13-9):

Loss: Powell County 60-56

Engineers have hit a snag dropping they’re second game in a row as they fell to district rival, Powell County. 
 

8 ) Knott County Central (8-13):

Win:  Powell County 51-41

Loss: Letcher County Central 64-45

The patriots split they’re two games last week falling to Letcher County Central but bouncing back and picking up a win over Powell County. The win would snap the Patriots 3 game win streak. 
 

9) Powell County (8-14):

Wins: Estill County 60-56, 

Losses: Knott County Central 51-41

Powell County has dropped 3 of they’re last 4 games but the lone win was a big win as they picked up a huge district win over rival Estill County. 
 

10) Leslie County (11-11)

Losses: Middlesboro 45-42, Rockcastle County 73-45. 
 

The Eagles dropped they’re two games last week which snapped they’re two game win streak.
