Since this appears to be a possible nocturnal event I'm issuing a BGP Severe Weather Alert. Don't be scared, be prepared.

 

 

Isolated strong to severe storms possible tonight, mainly between 11 PM - 5 AM EST 

Possible severe hazards include:

Localized damaging winds

Isolated tornadoes

Outside of showers/storms, winds could gust as high as 45mph Thursday (early morning and afternoon).

First showers: 6 AM to 10 AM

Best coverage: 4 PM to 10 PM

Severe Threats
Conditions may become favorable for a few tornadoes in the afternoon and evening
Areas of flash flooding are possible
Scattered damaging wind gusts are possible through the afternoon and evening
