...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM FRIDAY TO 6 AM EST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Snow showers are expected to start over the high
  elevations late Thursday night. Snow levels will gradually fall
  to the valley floors on Friday morning. Expect total snow
  accumulations of 1 to 2 inches in valleys and 2 to 4 inches at
  elevations above 1,500 feet. Localized snowfall amounts
  exceeding 4 inches are possible over the highest portions of
  Black Mountain.

* WHERE...Bell, Harlan, Letcher and Pike Counties.

* WHEN...From 4 AM Friday to 6 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions at the highest
  elevations on Friday morning where temperatures fall below
  freezing first. Conditions will slowly worsen at lower elevations
  on Friday and Friday evening as snow levels fall and temperatures
  cool to and below freezing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heavier snow accumulations are expected
  to impact the higher elevation roadways including US-421 and US-
  119 crossing Pine Mountain, KY-160 and KY-179 crossing Black
  Mountain, KY-932 at Flat Gap, KY-38 at Morris Gap and KY-74
  crossing the Log Mountains.
