13th Region All “A” Updates

The All “A” started this morning at Barbourville High School. 
 

Jackson County and Williamsburg kicked off the action with a the Generals picking up a win 52-48. Many including myself, expected a Williamsburg v Harlan finals so I’d call this an upset. Jude Lakes led Jackson with 14 points and the Generals going 10-10 on their free throws down the stretch managed to be clutch in the victory. 
 

The next game played was a game where the two schools are separated by 15 miles, Pineville vs Middlesboro. Pineville managed to pull away late with a tough 73-67 victory. Sawyer Thompson paced the mountain lions with 25 points. Ashton Moser also had 22. Brayden Barnard had 20 in the loss. 

Pineville and Jackson County will play Monday. 
 

Lynn Camp and Harlan are currently playing and Harlan leads 38-17 in the second quarter. Barbourville and OBI will cap the night.
