Bullitt Central faces Oldham County in Buckner on Wednesday, 1/4/23.

Oldham County (6-5) is off to a pretty solid start in a rebuilding year under first year coach Ron Ferch.    

Bullitt Central (11-2) is off to another great start under fourth-year coach Jessie Curry.    In three previous years under Curry, the Lady Cougars have won 24, 18, and 23 games, and they're on pace for another fantastic year.    

The two teams have one common opponent, North Bullitt.   Oldham lost by 20 to the Lady Eagles; BC split two games, winning by 4 points before losing to the Lady Eagles by 6 points in their most recent meeting.

BC figures to be the favorites in this one, but this is the kind of game Oldham has to show it can be competitive in if Ferch is to keep the upward momentum going.

Oldham ends the game with star (leading scorer)  Adriana Palazzolo on the bench.   She appears OK, but hit the floor hard - she was already playing with a sore foot - in the first half.   She entered the game briefly in the second half, but left quickly and never returned.
