The BGP Severe Weather Alert Day is extended through early Wednesday.

 

Rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected Tuesday into early Wednesday. A threat for strong to severe thunderstorms exists depending on the amount of available instability. The main threat with any isolated strong or severe storm would be damaging wind gusts and an isolated spin-up tornado. Widespread rainfall could be locally heavy, possibly leading to localized minor flooding.
