I can see Breathitt winning the 14 region this year they have some really good kids. The hays boy as come alive he is one of the best players on the team. And with Aaron Combs out hurt some of the freshman have come out and showed that they can play and fill up his shoes.

If I'm not mistaking didn't Breathitt beat Hazard without Aaron Combs? I believe Breathitt is one of the deepest teams if not the deepest team in the 14th region. Beating Wolfe County isn't a big achievement but a 14-1 record is. Steve Banks has turned this program around. He has these boys playing great defense, big key when you have a kid like Justin Hollan shooting the ball as well as he is. They are going to be tough to beat come region. Travis Smith is als0 making himself the best big man in the region. So far no one has stopped him. The thing is with this team you can't double team Smith when you have shooters like Hollan, Fugate, Allen, & Hayes.

How would Breathitt match-up to teams like Lee, Powell, or JBS?

of course this is a good win, but Wolfe is 3-10, 3-11 now i guess? so not really a team to compete for the region title, but Breathitt does have a very good chance, we will see how good they match up with JBS, they play in just a couple of weeks
