This game was at Wayne County, and for me, an extreme upset.

 

Wayne will contend with McCreary and Southwestern for the 48th and even though you can't judge games by other games, listen to this:

 

McCreary beat Garrard Co. by 28 at McCreary.

Wayne beat McCreary by 10 at Wayne.

Madison Southern beat Garrard by 4 and 11 in two games at Madison Southern.

Madison Southern beat Wayne by 14 at Wayne.

 

When Wayne beat McCreary - whom I think is the better team - I think if might have been a one time thing because I would take McCreary 7 out of 10 times, but that night Wayne happened to play better. I just don't understand how they lost to Madison Southern

Upset? Wayne was probably one of the worst teams MS has played. They are not better than Louisville Eastern Madison Central Woodford North Laurel Cawood Taylor County LCA and Lloyd Memorial. They are in there with Estill and Garrard but not better. This was no upset MS played bad in the first half or it wouldve been worse.

Madison beat Garrard by only 4 points at home... and then they beat Wayne by 14 at Wayne, that is an upset in my eyes.

How many starters were out for MS that night? So uk beat La Monroe in football by 2 points beat Georgia by what 6, so thatmeans La Monroe is 4 points better than Ga right? What does that matter some teams match up better than others just the way it is.

 

MS beat them last year and lost 11 players and beat them again, not an upset just the 11th region.
