Trinity remains #1 despite a close loss to an athletic Fern Creek team and their overall body of work keeps them #1 and still the team to beat, but that could change with a 4-0 Ballard team on their heels. Male is #3 despite being 1-4 due to a difficult schedule where they have been very competitive and the teams behind them haven't been exactly lighting it up. The surprise team to date is Kentucky Country Day who is #5 sporting a 2-1 record with a win over Eastern. Overall seems to be a lot of parity in the 7th which should make for an exciting rest of season. It's still early and the rankings will continue to be fluid.

1. Trinity (5-1)

Trinity beat Bardstown 73-44, beat Waggener 72-33, beat Huntington Prep (WV) 75-69, and lost to Fern Creek 49-44. Andrae Vasser leads Trinity in scoring at 16.2 ppg and he also leads in rebounding at 9.4 ppg. Next game is North Oldham in 1st round of the King of the Bluegrass tournament at Fairdale on 12/16.

2. Ballard (4-0)

Ballard beat Christian Academy - Louisville 87-67 and beat Madison Central 73-63. Miles Franklin leads in scoring at 22.5 ppg and Evan Chiles leads in rebounding at 5.5 rpg. Next game is at Butler on 12/13.

3. Male (1-4)

Male beat Central 80-54, lost to Butler 58-45, and lost to Woodford County 75-71. Jack Edelen leads in scoring with 20.0 ppg. and Jason Gasaway leads in rebounding with 5.8 rpg. Next game is at home against Fern Creek on 12/13.

4. Manual (3-3)

Manual beat St. X 59-58, beat Shawnee 81-43, and beat Christ Presbyterian Academy (TN) 65-61. Damone King leads in scoring at 17.8 ppg and Brady Hurley leads in rebounding at 9.6 rpg. Next game is at Fern Creek on 12/12.

5. Kentucky Country Day (2-1)

KCD beat Eastern 64-57 and beat Henry County 68-34. Will Crockett leads in scoring at 17.7 ppg and he also leads in rebounding at 6.0 rpg. Next game is at home against Whitefield Academy on 12/12.

6. Eastern (4-1)

Eastern beat Seneca 71-56, beat South Oldham 64-60, and lost to KCD 64-57. Owen Shee leads in scoring at 17.2 ppg and Sosthene Kamba leads in rebounding at 8.0 rpg. Next game is at home against Henry Clay on 12/13.

7. Seneca (3-3)

Seneca lost to Eastern 71-56, beat Highlands Latin 80-45, and beat Butler 68-65. QuelRon House leads in scoring at 22.7 ppg and he leads in rebounding at 7.8 rpg. Next game is at home against Jeffersontown on 12/13.

8. Central (2-3)
