Just like last year, Central didn't play too well in the early going of their LIT opening game. However, this year they didn't dig themselves into a 25 point hole. After trailing 34-30 at halftime and 41-30 with just over 2 minutes gone in the third quarter, Central called timeout to stop the bleeding. They responded with a 10-0 run to close the gap and soon after the two teams began trading the lead until the Dragons went up for good at 53-51.
