Chargers win district opener but didn't look sharp especially in the first half.  Their own worst enemy in the first half.  FC has a nice RB but little else.

I shouldn't have said "little else".  They have some nice players.  They open field tackle well.  Have some decent LB's and I saw several players playing hard.  BE's defense also had a pretty good night that included a safety.  BE also ran the ball very well at times and Travis Egan had a nice game.  Wish he had a little more "touch" on some of his shorter passes as he smokes them in, but all of his throws were catchable.  Just have to keep working hard.

Mason Gauthier is BE's RB1 and has had a somewhat quiet season while putting up very good numbers and I don't think he gets the notice he deserves.  Kid is shifting and runs VERY hard.  Gets a lot of tough yards after contact.

Defensive front four also continue to have a very good year.

A win is a win but really needed to play sharper.
