Good game tonight in Union. Conner had a great chance to score early with a shot by Cosmin Marculeanu hitting off the cross bar. Ryle scores a few minutes later to take a 1-0 lead.

The game had momentum flow in the second half. At one point Ryle had the ball pressing in the Conner defensive third for a good 6-8 minutes but could not find the back of the net. Conner then starts to attack and had one good chance at scoring with about 5 minutes left but the ball goes just wide of goal on the right side. Ryle holds on for the 1-0 victory.

So, Ryle will play Boone and Cooper will play Conner in the 33rd District tournament at Boone County high school. .
