Just when you think you have things figured out, things like this go and happen.  SK had won straight, including one over Ryle, and then go and drop this one to WV to fall to 5-4-0 on the season.  They'll look to re-group against a very good Dixie team this weekend.  No easy task.

WV has lopsided losses to Campbell County and NewCath, and a narrow loss to local rival Grant County, so there wasn't anything on their table at this point that led me to believe they could grab this one...but that is why they play the game.  WV is now 4-3-1 on the season and next play Holmes, so they should continue to build on this momentum, but then get the suddenly very tough Mustangs of Brossart next week which will be a very formidable task for the Bearcats.

Congrats to Coach Riggs, Kyle Bennett, and the young men of WV on a very solid victory last night!  Enjoy it.
