Garry McPeek named acting head coach at EKU

EKU announced today that assistant coach Garry McPeek has been named as the acting head coach of the Colonels after head coach Walt Wells had a cardiac episode on Sunday. 

McPeek joined the EKU staff in February of 2021 as the assistant director of football operations. He then served as the director of football operations during the 2021 football season. He was promoted to chief of staff during this past offseason.
