The Colonels headed down to Louisville on Saturday and were blanked 0-3 by St. X.  The Colonels drop their 3rd in the last 4, with the Highlands win standing out prominently in that stretch, and aren't done with their early season gauntlet as they have Dayton Carroll (OH) at home tomorrow night.  I like the Colonels to win that one, but it won't be easy.  CovCath is 3-4-0 on the young season.  11 goals for and 17 allowed, through the first 7 games.

St. X is 7-0-1 on the young season, with only a draw with North Oldham as a blemish on their outstanding record.  29 goals for and 6 against thus far, with 2 of those allowed to North Oldham in their draw.  St. X being outstanding and looking like a state Championship contender should be a surprise to no one.
