CovCath picks up the road clean-sheet in Hebron.  I think CovCath would have taken 2-1 through 3 games, especially with one at Madison Central (reloading, to be sure) and one in Hebron, plus the tilt with South Oldham, so Coach Robertson has something to build upon as they enter a murderer's row stretch of their schedule.  CovCath now faces:  Trinity, Highlands, North Oldham, Louisville St. Xavier, and Dayton Carroll over the next 13 days.  More than one win in that stretch would be herculean for the Colonels.

Conner looks a lot like we discussed pre-season, a team with some top-end players, but not a lot of depth (yet), but a roster with some good young players coming up that should help a great deal over the next few years.  With Ryle and Cooper sputtering a little out of the gate, maybe the Cougars can maintain that hope that they can somehow sneak into the 9th out of the 33rd, as unlikely as that still appears.
