Everyone knew that M.C. lost a TON from last year's outstanding team, so CovCath getting the victory isn't horribly surprising, but the slow-pitch softball score is a little bit of a shocker.  Sounds like CovCath got out to a big lead (5-1 maybe?), but Coach Robertson still won't be pleased to see his team give up 3 more after that to cause some white-knuckling in the last few minutes.

I expected CovCath to struggle to score in the flow of play this year, and still do, so this is either a great sign for the Colonels or an aberration...time will tell.
