Owsley County’s Lexy Lynch has signed to play college basketball for Coach John Mills at Alice Lloyd College. Lexy has played on teams that have won four 56th district championships, three region semifinals of which the last one resulted in a regional championship game which her team lost by 1 point in overtime on a last second shot. She has scored over 2500 career points. She was named 14th region Player of the Year in 2021.
Lexy is a lefty guard who has speed and quickness and a knack for getting to the basket for scores. She’s also a great defensive player. She will join Kaylee Banks of Letcher County Central and Shelby Stewart of Corbin as ALC signees.
