Scattered Strong to Severe Storms this afternoon (5/21/22)

A cold front approaching from the west will interact with a warm and humid atmosphere to spark scattered storms this afternoon and evening. Some could be severe with hail and locally damaging winds. As with all thunderstorms, lightning will be a threat as well. The highest chances for severe storms will be northwest of a line from Bowling Green to Frankfort.
 

Scattered storms this afternoon and evening, some strong to severe. Damaging winds, large hail, and downpours of heavy rain will be the main threats, along with lightning.
