OWEN COUNTY 47, WALTON-VERONA 46 - Junior guard Lauren Hargett had 13 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Bearcats, but senior center McKenzie Garcia was able to convert only one of two free throws with 1.1 seconds remaining.

 

Garcia matched Hargett's team-leading 12 rebounds.

 

Walton-Verona converted only seven of 18 free throws (38.8 percent) in the game. Owen County was eight of 16 (50 percent) from the line.
