The Muhlenberg County Mustangs hold onto the top spot this week, surviving a mid week scare from Butler County.  The Mustangs have won 6 straight and are 7-0 against 3rd Region competition.  They swept their district on Friday night, defeating McLean County.  They will not have to play a district elimination game due to the 10th District only being 3 teams deep.  Owensboro keeps posting impressive wins, as they handled Madisonville this past week.  Kenyatta Carbon and Amari Robinson Wales lead the region in scoring.  Ohio Co had won 12 of their last 13 games before falling to Calloway County on Saturday.  They hope to get Elijah Decker back in the lineup sooner than later, which will only make them better.  Owensboro Catholic fell in the All-A tournament and still seem to be coming together as a team.  Coach Riley is seeking some consistency for the Aces as we head toward the final month of the season.  Outside of the top 4 teams, its very difficult to see a path to Rupp for anyone else.
