Danny Weddle Podcasts: Lew Cook (Mason County) & Ted Purcell (Fleming County)

Featured Replies

Danny Weddle was our radio guy during my 19 years at Mason County. Great guy and excellent in his work with Royals Athletics. I always enjoyed working with Danny.

He has started to put some podcasts together. If you love HS football, you will enjoy these.

This is the one with Lew Cook. He was the HFC at Mason County in the 80's. Lew still taught at Mason County when I arrived. Awful good man. Has done much with Kentucky Changers since he got out of coaching HS football.

This is the one with Teddy Purcell. He was the HFC at Fleming for an extended period of time...coaching Bubby Lewis. He was also the 1st Inductee into the Fleming County Football Hall of Fame. I always appreciated Ted's friendship when we coached against each other and then when he was on the radio as well.

Respect both of these men and appreciate their contributions to KY HS Football.

Danny has other guests, but wanted to start with these two football guys.
