nWo
We are in a pattern where every few days Kentucky will be looking at possible accumulating snows. The next shot appears to be this upcoming Monday evening into Tuesday night. The precipitation will once again start as rain before an arctic front moves into Kentucky from the northwest. The GFS shows that Kentucky could be sandwiched between two lows. The one to the north will trail a cold front that will bring the arctic air into Kentucky and possibly change the rain into snow. The southern low will bring moisture from the Gulf northward into Kentucky. Northern Kentucky has a shot at accumulating snow. ❄️ 🤔 This will have to be monitored and updates will come as we get closer.
nWo
The low-pressure system that was supposed to bring the moisture into Kentucky is now forecast to be further south than last week. It is now forecasted to be over the Gulf of Mexico and won't affect Kentucky's weather. Our next chance appears to be later this week.
