The Muhlenberg County Mustangs made a statement this past week with 3 wins against 3 teams ranked inside the top 5 of the region.  The Mustangs have played a difficult schedule thru the first half of the season and it showed in comfortable wins over Mclean Co, Ohio Co and Owensboro.  The Devils were without top scorer Amari Robinson Wales in Saturday's loss to Muhlenberg, which should make for a more interesting match up should the two hookup again in the 3rd Region Tournament.  It was an up and down week for the Devils, who fall from the top spot this week.  They started the week having to survive an overtime upset bid in Grayson County before bouncing back with a convincing district win over Owensboro Catholic.  The game to watch this week comes out of the 10th District.  Mclean County travels to Ohio County in this weeks game to watch.  An Ohio County win would wrap up a bye into the regional tournament for Muhlenberg County.  A Mclean County win would set up a showdown with the Mustangs next week, with the bye on the line!
