Brossart jumped out to a 16-1 first quarter lead and never looked back, despite some anxious moments late in the game when the Blue Jackets closed to within seven twice at 53-46 and again at 55-48.  The Mustangs used superior free-throw shooting, hitting 8 consecutive down the stretch, earning them a 14 point advantage for the game - 18/25 to 4/11.

Brossart Junior Mason Sepate led all scorers with 19 points - 18 of them coming in the first half.  Wyatt Clark countered with 18 for Nicholas County.  

WIth the win the Mustangs improve to 7-9 on the season and will take on Bracken County in the Tuesday night lower bracket semis at 6pm.
