14th Region All A Semifinals

The 14th region All A semifinals will be played at Knott County Central this Saturday and Sunday. 
 

Wolfe County (11-4) vs Hazard (9-3) 5:00 

Breathitt County (12-2) vs Leslie County (2-10) 7:00

In earlier games this season Hazard defeated Leslie County 72-48 in Hazard on Dec 7.

Breathitt County defeated Wolfe County 68-65 in Jackson on Dec 17. 
Those are the only games that’s been played this season between the semifinal teams.
Breathitt County is a slight favorite to win the tournament. The Bobcats have one of their best teams in the past two decades. They have size (6’7, 6’5, 6’4), depth and great guard play. 
The Wolves will have to get by Hazard to and that won’t be easy. The Bulldogs aren’t as strong this year as in the past but they have a seasoned coach in Al Holland that has been to the KHSAA state tournament a total of 10 times at three different schools. But Wolfe County is a very capable team with a 6’6 center and some great guard play. 
It should be a good semifinals. I think the games will be streamed live on BluegrassSportsNation and Hometown24.
