Notes:

-Not much reason for any movement this week, as results have been pretty consistent.  Russellville and Metcalfe County flip, but otherwise, everyone is in the same spot.

-Bowling Green will head to the Ashland Invitational with an unbeaten record through nine games for the second straight year.  If they manage to win the tourney, they'll be 12-0 and off to their best start since they went 27-0 entering the region tournament in 1998/99.  It was known that Bowling Green would be good as they are never bad, but this is still a rather strong performance above what was expected.  Turner Buttry is averaging 25 points per game, hitting 54.3% of his threes.  Three other Purples are averaging between 9 and 11 points.

-Warren Central fell from the unbeaten ranks after a loss to powerful Arsenal Tech out of Indianapolis, but they acquitted themselves very well in the tournament.  Arsenal Tech's other wins other than the four point margin against Central? 30 and 50 points.  Even with the loss, Central is winning by an average of 21.8 PPG and averaging 76.7 PPG.  We're just over a week away from their big showdown with Bowling Green.

-Greenwood bounced back from their first loss by winning the Scott Christmas tournament.  Their 93 points against host Scott equaled the 13th highest total in program history, and was their highest score in regulation in just under 22 years.  Cade Stinnett has maintained his strong play, averaging over 21 PPG, but the Gators have three others averaging in double digits.  Greenwood is a program that has been known for years for winning lower scoring games, and hasn't averaged above 66 PPG for a season since 1999/2000 - they're averaging over 76 currently.

-Clinton County is the only other unbeaten team left with Bowling Green.  The Bulldogs are 10-0, their best start of the Riherds scoreboard era.  There's probably a better start somewhere back in their history, but who knows when? They'll find it a challenge to reach the New Year unbeaten as they head out to the Las Vegas Prep championship, but it's a strong accomplishment regardless.  The Bulldogs have allowed more than 60 points only twice, beating teams on the defensive end like they've done for years.  Nick Delk is averaging a healthy 18.1 PPG.

-There are no games scheduled between region teams this week, so again, there may not be much movement after this week.
