Christmas tournaments are in full swing with #1 Ballard playing in the tough City of the Palms tournament in Florida. #2 Male, #5 Eastern, and #7 Trinity are playing the very good King of the Bluegrass tournament. This week #3 Manual, #6 St. X, and #9 Waggener play in the Mac's Childcare Holiday Classic in Louisville. Not a lot of change in the rankings except Eastern who has moved to #5 with a good start in the 7th Region and losses against strong teams. Let's see the rankings.

1. Ballard (5-2)

Ballard beat Butler 88-39 and lost to IMG Academy (FL) 75-61. Derrick Tilford won the 3pt contest at the City of the Palms tournament. Ballard continues in the tournament playing on 12/21 against Dr. Phillips (FL)/ Charlotte (FL) winner. Today's opponent had to cancel due to Covid/Flu symptoms.

2. Male (6-2)

Male defeated Fern Creek 81-66, Belfry 103-81, and Ashland 69-66. Male continues in the King of the Bluegrass tournament today against Covington Catholic in the semifinals.

3. Manual (7-0)

Manual beat Fern Creek 71-64. Manual plays Western today in the Mac's Childcare Holiday Classic.

4. Christian Academy-Louisville (7-2)

CAL beat Seneca 105-88, Butler 78-69, and South Oldham 87-79. CAL plays Shelby County on 12/21.

5. Eastern (4-4)

Eastern lost to Henry Clay 55-46 and North Laurel 72-56. Eastern beat Paul Dunbar 56-50. Eastern continues today in the King of the Bluegrass Tournament today against Lake Highland (FL)

6. St. Xavier (4-2)

St. X lost to John Hardin 86-81 and beat Seneca 59-52. St. X plays Southern in Mac's Childcare Holiday Tournament today.

7. Trinity (2-5)

Trinity lost to Jeffersontown 69-48 and Covington Catholic 68-51. Trinity plays in King of the Bluegrass Tournament today against Lyon County.

8. Central (3-4)

Central beat Portland Christian 70-39 and lost to Western 59-45. Central plays today in Hopkinsville tournament.

9. Waggener (3-3)

Waggener beat Highlands Latin 64-33 and North Bullitt 62-49. Waggener plays in Mac's Childcare Holiday Classic today against Pleasure Ridge Park.

10. Seneca (3-6)

Seneca lost to CAL 105-88, St. X 59-52, and Valley 64-54. Seneca plays Henry Clay today at tournament at Madison Central.
