Day 1 observation

My son watched all three games and I got to see the second two and it's not a surprise to anyone who really knows football but the shear physicality of the 6 teams that played today was probably as good a reason as any for the fact that they were the teams playing today.  We talked about it several times during the LCA/BW game and the Boyle/JC game.  I don't think Boyle's front 4 on defense and interior 5 on offense got near enough credit this year.  JC's front 9 were monsters and a load to handle.  I personally also think the Beechwood defensive box players were as responsible for their win as anything.  I saw LCA runners stood up several times at the point of contact.  VERY physical !!  Football is a contact sport and all 6 teams today were pretty darn good at it !
