No disrespect to GRC and Harrison County (Harrison Co won 4-3 in PKs), most observers felt like this game was actually for the 10th Region Championship.  Montgomery County, undefeated in 10th Region play this year, survives and gets the narrow result against the Mustangs to advance to the 10th Region Championship versus Harrison County on Saturday at 6:00 at Harrison County.

While the two teams didn't play in the regular season, looking at common opponents as a gauge, this feels like one that would require a lot to go right for the surging Thorobreds to pull out the win.  

The winner of this game between Montgomery Co and Harrison Co will host the 9th Region Champion on Monday or Tuesday in the semi-state.
