The Double Deuce Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Shocker in the 10th. The Camels have struggled to find their footing all season, including a 1-3 loss to the Eagles, but find a way to get the result vs Scott when it is do or die in the district semis. I never would have believed that this Scott team, led by one of the area's most prolific goal scorers in Carlos Marshall, would be blanked by a Camels' team that lacked a single win all year versus a team of Scott's ilk. When Scott played Cooper to a 4-3 loss a couple of weeks ago, I thought that sent a pretty clear sign that they would not only be a handful in the 37th for Brossart, but would be able to make some noise in the 10th. Clearly the Camels were ready, executed their game plan, got the win and the clean sheet, and unfortunately for the young men of Scott, their season comes to a close last night. Good luck to the Camels against the Mustangs in the 37th Championship, as well as next week in the 10th Region Tourney.
