The game we talked about all year in terms of competitive district semis went to the Jags 3-1.  We got the result we predicted in the preview thread, by not the score, as Cooper found the back of the net 3x before allowing a late goal to the Cougars to breathe some life into the Conner faithful that a potential late-game charge may be in the offing.  As we referenced in a Cooper game thread last week, the Jaguars have tweaked their offensive attack, shuffled some players around, and are finding the goal with a LOT more frequency than the first half of the season.  They'll need every ounce of that attack if they are going to dethrone the Raiders, at Ryle, on Thursday night at 7:30 in the 33rd Championship.

Congrats to the young men of Conner, you had a great year, you are absolutely a Top 4 NKY team, and the fact that your season has ended this prematurely is really unfortunate.  The Cougs will be back next year, they return a lot, and don't be surprised to see them make the 9th Region tourney in 2022.  Keep those heads-up, Conner!
