The Double Deuce Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 Make no mistake, Wyoming is a small-school power in Ohio, but even with that said, this margin is shocking to me. Beyond shocking, really. Doesn't get any easier for the Birds, as they end the regular season tomorrow by hosting Dunbar at Tower Park. Certainly ensuring they test themselves to the max heading into the post-season, where they hope to make a long run in the 9th. The Birds will play NewCath in the 36th District Championship on Tuesday night at 5:00. Assuming a loss to Dunbar tomorrow, the Birds will end the season 9-0-0 within the 9th Region, but 6-5-1 outside of it. All of that said, I think they are squarely #2 in the 9th & NKY, and possess the best chance to beat Ryle at St. Henry in the 9th Region tourney in 2 weeks.
