[The Double Deuce]

Big win for Dixie over their Dixie Highway rivals, 1-0, scored (per twitter) by Ryder Kennedy.  Dixie cements themselves as Top 5 NKY team this year, and CovCath continues to get as little out of their roster as anyone would have thought possible.  In 5 games this year versus the other top NKY teams, Ryle, Highlands, Cooper, Conner, and Dixie, CovCath has tallied exactly ONE goal.  That won't get it done in two weeks, that much is certain.  

CovCath goes to Louisville tomorrow to play Trinity, that likely won't be much fun either for the Colonels, and then they'll play the winner of Holy Cross and Beechwood at Holmes next week in the 35th District Championship.  

Dixie plays at Brossart tomorrow in what should be a FANTASTIC game, as both look to warm up for the districts and regional tournaments awaiting them, and then will play St. Henry next Thursday for the 34th District Championship.  Unless Dixie draws Cooper / Conner in the first round of the 9th Region (presuming a win over the Cru), they should be destined to make at least the 9th Region Semi-Finals.  Solid season, to be sure, for the Colonels.
