Final.

Beechwood (16-2) led by senior right-hander Drew Fieger who picked up win #3 on the season, allowing only 2 hits and striking out 8 in his complete game effort. The Tigers were lead at the plate by junior OF Landon Johnson, who finished 3-3, including a monster 2-run HR in the 2nd inning.

Prior to the game, NCC coach Jeff Martin, his team, and the Bred baseball community took a moment to honor Beechwood  Coach Kevin Gray's father, Tim, who passed away this past winter. A TOTAL class move by Coach Martin and the Breds. So nice to see that kind of mutual respect amongst coaches and baseball communities.
