Pegasus Sports Open Invitation to BGPers..... 8th Region tourney

Featured Replies

For the 24th consecutive year, PSN will be covering each and every game of the boys' 8th Region basketball tournament in New Castle, KY, at Henry County HS.

I actually began calling 8th Region games on radio in 1978, but it was in 1998 that PSN first became the Voice of the 8th Region Tournament.

I would like so much to meet all the BGPers in attendance....and I want to get some of you on-air!

PSN will go on-air each night 30 minutes prior to the start of each game.    As always, we'll be located up top in the glass broadcast booth at the Roy Winchester gym....    Anyone who can come up before we go on the air, I'd like to record a short audio message (no, you don't have to go on camera!)  - less than a minute - from you, identifying yourself by your BGP name (you can also give your real name, but that's your call) and making a quick comment.   You can make a game prediction, a tournament prediction, call out a big "hello" to the folks watching back home, or propose to your girlfriend!   Let's have some fun with this!

The Roy is a special place for a region tournament.   Always has been.   In a year where COVID has caused so much pain, I'm encouraging everyone to help me connect the tournament with those folks back home by joining my broadcast.

See you this week!

First round games:   Monday and Tuesday, 3/22 and 3/23

SF - Friday, 3/26

Finals - Saturday, 3/27
