Weather played a major factor this week, canceling all 3rd Region games until Saturday and Sunday.  With only 3 weeks left in the regular season, you get a huge 1 vs 2 matchup this week with Muhlenberg County traveling to the Sportscenter to take on Owensboro Catholic on Friday.

1. Muhlenberg County Mustangs (9-1) - SAME - The Mustangs had all of their games canceled this past week.  They return to action this week against Apollo, Owensboro Catholic and Grayson County.

2. Owensboro Catholic Aces (12-3) SAME – The Aces won their lone game of the week on Saturday against Henderson County.  Coach Riley and company have now won 4 straight games.  Brian Griffith poured in 32 points.  This week they will try to open All-A State Tournament play against Clinton County before closing out the week against Muhlenberg.

3. Owensboro Red Devils (4-3) - SAME - Owensboro lost their only game this past week to Graves County in the Marshall County Hoopfest.  They will look to get on track this week with games against Madisonville, Evansville Central and Daviess County. 

4. Mclean County Cougars (11-5) - UP 1 – The Cougars scheduled 2 games on Saturday at the Owensboro Sportscenter and won them both.  They defeated Edmonson County and Shawe Memorial, Indiana.  They have now won 5 of their last 6 games.  Mclean has games this week against Grayson County, Whitesville Trinity and Caverna.

5. Grayson County Cougars (9-4) DOWN 1 – lost their only game this past week to a very good LaRue County team.  The Cougars will look to get back on track this week with 3 straight 3rd region games against Mclean, Muhlenberg and Hancock.

6. Ohio County Eagles (7-6) SAME – The Eagles had all of their games canceled this past week but return to action this week with games against Hancock and Meade County.

7. Meade County Greenwaves (5-5) SAME - The Waves had all of their games canceled this past week but return to action this week with games against Bullitt Central, Ohio County and Hancock County .

8. Daviess County Panthers (4-8) SAME – The Panthers battled a very good Lyon County team before losing by 10 on Saturday.  Cole Burch scored 24 in defeat.  Daviess County plays Logan County to open the week before opening 9th district play with back to back games against Apollo and Owensboro

9. Apollo Eagles (2-8) - SAME – A short handed Apollo team lost to Barren County 73-31 on Saturday.  They get back to action this week with games against Muhlenberg, Whitesville Trinity and Daviess County.

10. Whitesville Trinity Raiders (5-9) - SAME – lost their only game last week against Union County.  The Raiders return to action this week with 4 games.  They have Butler County, Apollo, Mclean County and Todd County scheduled this week.

11. Breckinridge County Tigers (5-8) UP 1 – The Tigers scored a 10 point win over Caldwell County this past week. Kason Morris led the way with 22 points.  They have games against Edmonson County and Cloverport this week.

12. Edmonson County Wildcats (5-6) DOWN 1 – The Wildcats dropped their 4th straight game this past week at the hands of Mclean County.  They have 4 games this week against Breckinridge, Hart, Logan and Madisonville.

13. Butler County Bears (1-4) SAME – The Bears had all of their games canceled this past week but return to action with Whitesville Trinity, South Warren, Foundation Christian and  Greenwood.

14. Hancock County Hornets (3-8) SAME - The Hornets had all of their games canceled this past week but return to action with Cannelton Indiana, Ohio, Grayson and Meade County.

15. Cloverport Aces (0-13) SAME - The Aces had all of their games canceled this past week but return to action with Brown, Beth Haven, Breckinridge and Whitefield Academy.
