Notes

-There was pretty much only one winner this week: Old Man Winter. There were a grand total of five games played in the region, and only one pitted two region teams against each other.  Logan County visited Glasgow on Saturday, and it was a dandy.  Glasgow led by eight at the half, but Logan County slowly reeled them in, and led by five with less than two minutes remaining, and four with 34 seconds left.  But the Scotties managed to get a layup and then two free throws to tie - the latter coming as a result of Anthony Woodard fouling out for Logan County, by far their best player.  Woodard led all scorers with 25, while Glasgow returned senior Ethan Harlow who had been out all season with a hand injury.

-Bowling Green rebounded nicely at the Marshall County Hoopfest by knocking off fellow BGP top 20 team Fern Creek by a 70-54 score.  Greenwood took part in the same event, falling 63-56 to the host Marshall County.

-We'll try again this week to get in a full slate.  Bowling Green takes on two of the top five teams in the state, hosting both Ballard and Covington Catholic.  Barren County has an impressive week as well, hosting #8 Franklin-Simpson and BGP top 10 team Elizabethtown around a road trip to #5 South Warren, which should be our most impactful ranked game of the week.
