Our Brossart Mustangs, making up for time lost over the past two weeks, had no trouble defeating home-standing Bourbon County 77-53 Thursday night in Paris in a 10th Region encounter..

The Mustangs jumped out to a 23-7 first quarter lead and widened the gap to 42-18 at intermission.  Coach Code liberally exercised his bench in the second half as a total of ten players made their way into the scoring column, led by Stephen Verst's 26 points and 8 boards, followed by Carson Schirmer with 13, and Mason Sepate 9.   Parker Estes led the Colonels with 16.

The Brossart JVs set the tone, rolling to a 39/23 victory.

We will jump right back into competition Friday night with a tripleheader scheduled in Dry Ridge, vs the Grant County Braves.
