Oldham with a decisive 6-0 run (two three pointers) to end the first half and build a 5 point lead into an 11 point lead, and the Colonels' lead never dipped below double digits after that.

Colonels shot exceptionally well, including over 40% beyond the arc as they hit 11 threes.

Four Colonels in double digits...

Deaton Oak scored 21 points and led Oldham in scoring for the third straight game.   After starting the year in a bit of a shooting slump, Oak has been red-hot over the last 3 games, averaging 20.3 ppg during that stretch.  Oak scored12 of his 21 in the second half, when he hit 5 of 7 shots.   Oak was outstanding from beyond the arc, hitting 4 of 6 threes, including one make in each quarter.

Xander Wagner-Rose scored 10 points in the first 10 minutes, but got sent to the bench with 2 fouls with 5 minutes to play in the first half.   He finished a foul-plagued game with 14 points, hitting 5 of 8 shots and 4 of 4 free throws.

Sam Powell came off the Oldham bench to score 14 points.   Powell - who is hitting over 50% from beyond the arc this year - nailed 4 of 10 threes in the game.

Sam Campbell had 10 points for OC, including 2 of 5 threes.

The Colonels won despite getting only two points (on two FTs) from leading scorer Tyler Slone.   Slone contributed more in other ways, leading the team in rebounding with 6 boards.

The Oldham bench came up huge, as the Colonel subs had 26 points.

For Jeffersontown, four Chargers reached double figures also:

Xavier Price 14 points, Casey Steadmon 13 points, Drae Vasser 12 points, and Zavion Jackson had 11.

Oldham led by as many as twenty points (59-39 after three quarters) and settled for the final 16 point margin.
