Outlook for tonight into tomorrow morning

Featured Replies

It appears that an upper level system will move through portions of southern Indiana and Ohio and Kentucky. Wintry precipitation is expected freezing rain and snow. The Cincinnati/NKY area looks to be mainly snow. There is a possibility of some light freezing rain before the snow starts to accumulate. Just south of that in and around I-64 people can expect some freezing rain accumulations. Here is what the models are showing.

I think the NAM is over doing it with the snow accumulations.

Since this is a very quick update. I'm going ahead with my first call. Expect 1-4 inches of snow for the Cincinnati/NKY area. I will update everyone this afternoon.

Here's my afternoon update for tomorrow morning. The snow looks to be confined north of I-64 with some freezing rain right along I-64. Also for a small section of western Kentucky across from Evansville, IN.

I'm saying 2-4 inches in the morning in the Cincinnati/NKY Area. There may be some freezing rain glazing of the roadways south of there near and along I-64.

Here are what the models are showing for tomorrow morning.

This shows the potential impact from this system.

Those in the Cincinnati/NKY area should prepare for moderate impacts from the system to affect your area tonight and tomorrow morning.
