Bahrain Gran Prix & Fireball Wreck

Yes, Lewis Hamilton won the race, but there were a couple wrecks in the race that were of note.  Most spectacularly was Romain Grosjean's Fireball crash on the opening lap was just incredible.  There was alot of flack towards Formula 1 for the (relatively) new Halo feature on the new car back in 2018.  It is a titanium safety feature above the drivers head.  This saved Romain's life on Sunday.  Just an incredible scene.  As race fans, we take it for granted and it seems that they are just driving on I-64 going to Wal-mart, but these guys are on the edge of disaster most of the time.  It's an incredible sport really.  Please see the highlights below:

There are 2 races in the season left.  A second race in Bahrain this Sunday and one in Abu-Dhabi on the 13th.  A couple reasons to watch on Sunday:

1. Lewis Hamilton tested positive for Covid today and will not run.  

2. This sets up a big opportunity for the entire field really as he is The Guy.

3.  Who will replace Hamilton in the best car on the grid?

4.  Who gets the 3 podium spots on Sunday?
