John Hardin at Elizabethtown Predictions/Updates

Elizabethtown has an opportunity to sew up the number one spot in 3A's RPI against John Hardin. The Panthers stretched out their lead over #2 Ashland with a 55-41 win over a ranked 5A North Bullitt squad. The offense carried the day, offsetting an uncharacteristically poor defensive performance from a typically stout unit. 

Across town, new coach Doug Preston has John Hardin heading in the right direction. The Bulldogs are riding a four game win streak that's seen the offense come alive after scoring just seven points in the first two games. They clinched the top seed in their district after defeating a very solid Spencer County team in Week 8.

E'town blew out JH last year, after not playing since 2004. Both of these programs achieved great success in the last fifteen years under the guidance of the recently retired Mark Brown.
