In what was a contentious game through thee periods where the Mustangs who trailed 6-0 early on, led 21-12.  The Mustangs capitalized on three Wildcat turnovers and scored on each to run off and hide in the fourth quarter, drawing off to a 41-12 victory, our 5th of the season against 3 losses.

With the win the Mustangs retain possession of the Battle of US 27 traveling trophy for the third consecutive season.

Brossart's Trevor Schadler set a new school record for touchdowns in a season, adding three to his resume, bringing his season total to 15, eclipsing the old mark of 13 set by Casey Pelgen back in 2013.  He also raised his school record number of career touchdowns to 26.  Junior quarterback Jacob Leicht added a 30 yard touchdown run, and hit Freshman Alex Amin with a 31 yard strike for a touchdown, Amin's first of his career.  Senior Carson Schirmer kept his streak of games with a touchdown intack, carrying the piggy 9 yards for a late-game touchdown to close out the scoring.

Pendleton County's TDs came on a 1 Yard run by Caleb Rogers - 2Pt Conversion No Good, and a 30 yard pass for a touchdown from Baker to Fuller.  Again the 2 PT conversion failed.

The Mustangs improve to 5-3 on the season and head to Dayton Friday night for an independent Class 1A matchup with the Greendevils.  Pendleton County, now 3-4 on the year hosts Powell County.
