Few teams in Kentucky have had their season disrupted by Covid like Franklin County (2-0). By the time they take the field this Friday, they'll have been out of action for a month. When they return, they'll be staring at an opponent that's played each of the past two weeks, and gave Central it's most competitive game of the season. Waggener (2-1) found success in the run game against the Yellowjackets last week, but it didn't translate into enough points, as the Wildcats fell 24-7.

Waggener does most of its damage on the ground, but the Josh Steineker to Malik Kimble connection has proven to be a terrific complimentary weapon. They've hooked up nine times in three games, with six of those going for touchdowns. The Flyers will look to resume their pass happy, air raid offense with QB Nick Broyles, who had thrown for nearly 800 yards and nine touchdowns through two games. He has weapons all over the field, headed up by Fred Farrier, one of the state's top wide receivers.

Waggener is not a team to take lightly, even if you've been playing each week. Add in the fact that the Flyers have been sidelined for a month, and we could be looking at a tight contest, or possibly an upset. This is one to keep an eye on this week.
