Delta's effect on Kentucky

Rememants of Hurricane Delta are forecast to move through Kentucky this weekend. Heavy rain fall totals are expected. At this time the heaviest totals will be west of I-75. Totals of 3-5 inches will be possible especially west of I-65. East of I-75 look for 1-2 inches.

 

This GFS simulation shows the rain moving in early Saturday morning and ending during the day on Sunday. I look for flood watches to be issued soon if this trend continues.

The rainfall totals have come down a little. A general 1-3" of rain with some thunderstorms possible.
