After two weeks of allowing opponents to hang around longer than they'd like, Owensboro got right down to business against Ohio County. The Red Devils (3-0) triggered a running clock on the Eagles early in the second quarter, en route to a 57-7 thrashing. Owensboro outgained Ohio County 351-89 in total yardage.

Muhlenberg County (0-3) fell to Grayson County on Friday in shutout fashion, 34-0. Speaking of shutouts, the Mustangs were blanked twice by Owensboro last year, their first as district opponents under the new alignment.

If you're into comparing scores, Muhlenberg lost to Ohio County two weeks ago, 45-7. The Mustangs will be hard pressed to score against the Red Devils, let alone pull the upset. Can they at least make this competitive for a while, or will Owensboro roll to another running clock victory?
