Calling all North Oldham, South Oldham, and Oldham County fans! Here's how to help your school's athletic department!

Anyone following KY high school athletics knows that COVID is having all kinds of negative impacts on schools - including financial.   

The football teams are severely limited in terms of the numbers of fans who can be in the stands this season, and that's bad news for the football team - and the tennis team - and the baseball team - and the cross country team - and the soccer team - and all other teams at the school....

Why?   Football and boys' basketball (at most schools) are the two sports that generate real revenues, which all the sports programs at the school depend upon in order to operate.    With so few fans in football stadium each Friday night, each sports team at the school is looking at a difficult year, indeed.

The Pegasus Sports Network (www.pegasussportsky.com) is hoping to help the three Oldham schools.  One of the ways we are going to try to help is by selling HIGH DEFINITION versions of our broadcasts and donating the proceeds to the three high schools.   PSN sold HD versions of our broadcasts in the past for a nominal fee, but that was because it was a requirement of the company that streams our broadcasts.    This year, we have moved to a new streaming agreement that won't require us to charge for the HD versions of the broadcast, however, we are going to continue to do so for a while as a fundraising effort for the schools.  This is solely for the benefit of the schools at this difficult time; PSN will be removing the HD fee as soon as this crisis is past.   As always, our standard definition broadcasts will be free.   

As high school football fans, you can help!   When you watch a PSN football broadcast this fall, please consider purchasing the High Definition version of the broadcast.   The few bucks you shell out will help Oldham County HS, South Oldham HS, and North Oldham HS as they try to deal with the financial challenges wrought by COVID.

Pegasus will be covering 13 football games during the regular season, and all post-season games for all three schools this year.
